In its first winter, Naples Beach Club drew people to the beach side of Gulf Shore Boulevard North: HB's, the Sunset Bar and The Merchant Room. Its second season opens on the other side of the road. The Wager, a sports pub with four regulation bowling lanes, opened in Market Square in mid-October 2026. Next to it are a market café, kids' and teen spaces, a small theater, and the fairways of a Tom Fazio course that the resort now says will open in early 2027.
For anyone driving down from The Moorings, the side of the street matters. The east side of the property was planned around hotel guests and the people who own homes there. Getting into the new venues now depends on hours, reservations and valet, so those details count for more than the menus.
When Naples City Council approved outdoor dining for the resort in June 2025, the Naples Press laid out the plan by parcel. HB's, the Sunset Bar and The Merchant Room are on the hotel parcel west of Gulf Shore Boulevard North. The Wager and Naples Trading Co. are in Market Square on the east side, and The Shed is on the golf course. The same report said the west-side restaurants are open to the general public and the east-side venues are limited to hotel guests and homeowners.
The Wager opened in October 2026 as a pub the resort describes as "designed for guests, residents and the local community," and the pub takes reservations through OpenTable.
| Venue | Side of Gulf Shore Blvd N | Status for the 2026–27 season |
|---|---|---|
| HB's | West, on the beach | Open; walk-up from the sand |
| Sunset Bar | West, on the beach | Open; walk-up from the sand |
| The Merchant Room | West, hotel lobby | Open |
| The Wager | East, Market Square | Opened mid-October 2026 |
| Naples Trading Company | East, Market Square | Listed for breakfast, coffee and picnics |
| The Picture House | East, Building Eva | Described as a private-events theater |
| The Gardens and The Shed | East, golf course | Opening early 2027 |
The beach side still works the way it did last winter. A Naples Press Q&A with the resort reported that people in beachwear can come straight off the sand to HB's and the Sunset Bar. Both pool areas are for hotel guests only. For The Wager, a call to the resort at (239) 944-7600 before your first visit is the simplest way to confirm how non-guests are seated.
The Wager is open four days a week. The resort lists hours of 4 to 11 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with no hours posted for Monday through Wednesday. That suits a sports pub built around game days. It also means a Tuesday-night bowling plan won't work.
The bowling alley is what sets the room apart. Four Seasons calls its four regulation lanes the first bowling alley in the brand. The games area also has pool, foosball, ping-pong, pinball and arcade machines, and a covered terrace looks out over the resort's putting course toward The Gardens. Bowling is booked separately through OpenTable, priced per party:
Split six ways, an early-season hour comes to under $17 a person, less than half the price of a single lobster roll on the pub's menu. A December reservation booked before the 17th costs a third less than the same hour over the holidays.
The all-day menu lists Buffalo wings at $24, lobster mac and cheese at $28, a smash burger at $28, a lobster roll at $36 and beer-battered fish and chips at $36. The weekly specials are British: pork sausage with mash on Friday, shepherd's pie on Saturday and a Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding. There's also a children's menu with mini burgers and mac and cheese bites.
The draft list is mostly from Florida breweries: 3 Daughters Brewing, Funky Buddha, Green Bench, Motorworks Brewing, Scotty's Bierworks, LaBelle Brewing, Kaleidoscope and Riptide Brewing. Signature cocktails include the Dew Sweeper, made with Jameson, Guinness, Kahlúa and cold brew, and the Kingston Julep, made with Woodford Reserve and toasted coconut. General Manager Diego Angarita told the resort's press office that The Wager "reimagines how families and friends come together to dine, play and connect."
The Wager is the first big opening in a square the resort is still finishing. On October 27, 2026, Four Seasons announced Building Eva, a 22-key Market Square building with the newly opened FINS Club for children and a Teen Centre. The same building holds The Picture House, which the resort describes as a 27-seat theater for private events and celebrations. The resort's amenities page lists Naples Trading Company for breakfast, morning coffee and picnic provisions, along with an outdoor putting green.
The east side's clearest invitation to the public came earlier in the year. The Sanctuary spa opened in March 2026. It covers 30,000 square feet over three levels, with 13 treatment rooms, a 3,200-square-foot aquatherapy circuit with thermal contrast therapy, a rooftop lap pool and a fitness center designed by Harley Pasternak. In the resort's announcement, Director of Spa, Fitness and Wellness Paul Nunez called it "a true wellness home for the local Naples community." Treatments are booked through the resort's spa page.
The Gardens matters most to neighbors because of what is around it. In September 2026, the Naples Daily News cited National Golf Foundation figures showing that the Naples metro has more private golf holes per person than any other metro in the country. Its headline called the resort's course a new public option. Teresa Delaney, the resort's director of public relations, told the Naples Press:
"There will be opportunities, there will be tee times available for the public."
That interview gave an end-of-2026 target. The resort's October 2026 announcements now say the Tom Fazio course will open in early 2027. Four Seasons says the 18 holes will be framed by trees that bloom year-round and will include precision hitting bays, comfort stations with grab-and-go food, and The Shed, a range house with indoor-outdoor seating, cocktails and casual dining. The Wager's covered terrace overlooks the putting course and, beyond it, those fairways.
The open space has a longer history than the resort. The Naples Press reported that The Athens Group recorded a conservation easement with the North American Land Trust covering more than 104 acres of recreation and open space. Homeowner associations pushed for that agreement after the developer sought more density.
There's no public lot. Everyone parks with the valet, which is $60, or $15 with validation from any dining outlet, including a round of cocktails. Bowling at The Wager is a pub booking, so a party that bowls and eats there is in the same position as any diner on the beach side.
The road work is still going. The City of Naples beach restoration and water quality project is in its final roadway, drainage and watermain phase, between 1st Avenue North and 2nd Avenue South. That stretch is expected to be substantially complete by the end of 2026, and the contractual completion date for the whole project is June 4, 2027. In the resort's Naples Press Q&A, Delaney gave the approach from the north: turn west off U.S. 41 onto Banyan Boulevard, then left at the signal onto Gulf Shore Boulevard North. Coming down Gulf Shore Boulevard North from The Moorings, you're already on that northern approach.
On the beach, the city's access status page lists the accesses at 8th Avenue North, 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st Avenue North, and Central Avenue as closed for the stormwater project. Lowdermilk Park is listed as open. For a beach walk to HB's, the Lowdermilk Park lot, with its own parking and the Flip Flop Beach Grill, is the nearest open city access on that list.
